April 2006 Newsletter

Greetings!

No April Fool's jokes from us, just our regular health & fitness news and articles. April is definitely the start of the colder months in Sydney, so not a great time of year for your tan but it does make training a bit more comfortable.

Training wise it's into the running season now so check out our list of fitness events from 5km fun runs, 10km races, the 14km City to Surf, and even some half marathons coming up over the next six months. Of note are two great soft sand running events: first the Bondi Barefoot on 30th April, and then the Manly Soft Sand Classic on 11th June. We detail how to train for soft sand running below so be sure to read that article if you are keen to get involved!

A big congratulations goes out to our clients Rhonda and Mark who both recently passed their NSW Police fitness test with flying colours! The test involved a series of challenges in fitness, flexibility, upper body and core strength, and agility. Brett has been training them hard in preparation and it's great to see them achieve their goals, so well done!

Keep an eye out around Manly for our great new Complete light weight hats and training tops! If you'd like to get one just ask your trainer or drop us an email.

Yours in health and fitness,

Complete Personal Fitness Training
